Funeral service for Frances Jewel Chandler age 88 of Hartselle will be Monday, December 14, 2020 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Yeager officiating and burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chandler, who was born November 4, 1932 in Springville, Alabama to Jessie Anthony Tucker and Mary Estelle Bodiford Tucker, died in Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Cotaco, she loved shopping, was an amazing homemaker and loved to cook. She loved family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Ralph and Robert Tucker.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ray Chandler; 3 Sons, Steve Chandler (Donna) of Hartselle, Mike Chandler (Cindy) of Somerset, KY. and Gary Chandler (Theresa) of Hartselle; 1 daughter, Nona Humfeld (Hans) of Yakama, WA.; Honorary children, Jimmy and Pam Galbreath; 4 sisters, Helen Rogers, Betty Burttram, Ann Jackson and Trish Goad; 12 Grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Jeremy Parker, Oliver Bryant, Dylan Bryant, D.J. Smithson, Oseph Melton, Ben Harris, Donald Tucker and Lindsey Cox will serve as pallbearers.
