Mrs. Elva Melendez, 79, of Dutton, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
A funeral prayer will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Father Tom Woods officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
Mrs. Melendez is survived by her husband, Luis Melendez; daughters, Diana Ashley (Don), Monica Garcia; sons, Javier G. Jacquez (Paty) and Luis Melendez, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Elsa Jacquez and Esperansa Jacquez; and brothers, Oscar Jacquez and Sergio Jacquez.
She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Janet Jacquez; mother, Isaura Jacquez; father, Francisco Jacquez; sisters, Berta Corona, Rita Peralta, and Elodia Jacquez; and brothers, Cesario Jacquez, Rene Jacquez, and Francisco Jacquez.
