Funeral services for Angela Cathleen “Cathy” Kirkland, age 53, will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Thursday. All services will follow the appropriate social distancing protocols, with face masks recommended, as set forth by the CDC and state of Tennessee.
Mrs. Kirkland, a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church in Milan, TN, passed away on December 6, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Kirkland; a daughter, Hannah Diane Brake; her parents, Richard Dowdy and Wanda Uselton.
Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her step father, Thomas Uselton of Louisville, MS; five aunts, Hazel Jones of Rutherford, TN, Dorothy Moyers of Rutherford, TN, Doris Poynor of Dyer, TN, Jane McCall of Trenton, TN, and Helen Walker of Dyer, TN; and an uncle, Reggie Howe of Dyer, TN.
