Ms. Rebecca Wynell CarrOn the morning of December 4, 2020; Ms. Rebecca Wynell Carr
transitioned and entered the gates of Heaven at the age of 81 years.
Ms. Carr was born on December 31, 1938 to David Hayles and Christine Grant Hayles in Evergreen, Alabama. Ms. Carr was of the Union Hill Community of Morgan County and was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Rebecca took passion in the little things in life; she enjoyed reading and singing as well as small activities around her home. She loved her church and church family, but above all, she loved spending as much time with her family and caring for others.
Ms. Carr leaves behind to celebrate her life and legacy; husband, Benny Martwain Carr; daughters, Holly B. Alderton, Mary Susan Carr and Paula Gatlin; grandchildren, Eric Carr Snipes, Rachael Gatlin Barfield, Rebecca Region (Christian Region), Lois Gatlin, Spencer Region and Olivia Landreth; great grandchildren, Riley Region, Rhett Region and Reese Region.
In addition to her beloved parents, Ms. Carr is at last reunited with her son, Marty Carr.
A visitation will take place on Monday – December 7, 2020 at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City, Alabama from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday – December 7, 2020 at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City, Alabama at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Craye Hall, officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Highland Baptist Church Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing and assisting the Carr Family.
