On the evening of Tuesday – December 1, 2020; Mrs. Myra Juanez “Sam” Alexander transitioned and entered the gates of Heaven at the age of 73 years.
Mrs. Alexander was Heavenly sent on November 8, 1947 to the late J.W. Sampson and Hazel Augusta Atchley Sampson. She is a retired missile log writer for the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Was of the Mtn. View area but resided in the Ruth Community for the majority of her life. In her earlier years, Juanez enjoyed activities such as; showing horses, bowling and softball. Later on she enjoyed crocheting, reading, shopping and spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Union Grove Holiness Church.
Mrs. Alexander leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life; son, David Jay-Logan Alexander (Tanya); daughters, Victoria Elaine “Vickie” Sims (Randy) and Kimbrely Jo Minchew; sister, Sandy Walker (Randie); sister-in-law, Michelle Sampson; grandchildren, Hunter Alexander, Carly Sims, Kaylin Alexander and Breanna Alexander.
In addition to her beloved parents, Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her late husband; James Clyde Alexander as well as her brother, Lowell Sampson and nephew, Joshua Aaron Sampson.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Saturday – December 5, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Funeral Service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Saturday – December 5, 2020 starting at 1:00 p.m. with Bro Jared Shields and Bro. Roy Walls, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the New Prospect Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.
