Graveside Services for Mr. Leonard Leroy Prestridge, age 82 of Lineville, were held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hanners and Rev. Shirley Meddick officiating.
Mr. Prestridge passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at UAB Hospital. A lifelong resident of Clay County, Mr. Prestridge worked at the Clay County Exchange, Russell Mills, Madix, and finally retired and spend his later years on the farm. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn H. Prestridge; one son, Victor Prestridge; one sister, Regina Long (Raymond), all of Lineville, plus extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Grady Prestridge and Susie May Hanners Prestridge, one infant brother, James Calvin Prestridge, and one daughter, Tina Jean Prestridge.
Active Pallbearers will be Bruce Harry, Allen Harry, Jeff Long, Steve Hanners, Brandon Stevens, and Johnny McVey.
