Edith Eileen Marks Boone died November 27,2020 at Ridgewood Health Services in Jasper, Alabama at the age of 88.
Edith was born in Prichard, Alabama to the late William F. and Bertha Marks. Edith began her working career as a tele-typist at Merrill Lynch and went on to work as manager of several Retail stores, and served as Pastor’s wife to her husband.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Benjamin H. Boone, son David H. Boone, brothers LeVert Marks (Nell), W. T. Marks (Vera), Therrel Marks (Virginia), sisters Kathleen Brouse (Wally), and Marceline Tiemann (August).
Edith is survived by her brother Wally Marks (Erie), children Katherine Pickard (David), Cynthia Floyd, John Boone (April), grandchildren Alan Floyd (Jessica), Mark Quimby (Cassidy), Eric Floyd (Elizabeth), Ashley Todd (Jeremy), Laura Pickard and Jeff Boone, great grandchildren Emma Floyd, Ella Grace Floyd, Blaine Boone, Audrey Lowe, Jackson Lowe, Miller Katherine Quimby and Everleigh Todd, and many nieces and nephews.
