Judy Lynn Isom Judy Lynn Isom, 69 of Arab passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at her residence. Judy was born May 30, 1951 in Arab the daughter of Lynovis Isom and Violet Bentley Isom. She was a graduate of Arab High School class of 1969, then attended Jacksonville State University receiving a bachelor’s degree. After graduating she started her career as the first female police officer at Jacksonville. Thruout her career she worked in several public positions, eventually retiring as a Technology Coordinator for the State of Alabama. She was a life long active member of the Arab First Baptist Church in which she was a part of several commitees as well as an active volunteer for the Room in The Inn program at the church.

Judy is survived by Sister: Regina Lakes and Deanna Sims (Gary); Brother: Bentley Isom (Tina); Host of Nieces and Nephews that thought of her as a grandmother. As well as many dear friends. She was preceded in death by Parents: Lynovis and Violet Isom; Brother: Randy “Wolf” Isom; Brother-in-law: Brad Lakes.

Graveside Service for her family and close friends will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2020, at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel Directing.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make donations to the Arab First Baptist Church in memory of Judy.
