Mr. Ronald Eugene Redden, 81 passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Born in Etowah County on July 18, 1939 to Roy Eugene Redden and Sarah Jane Jones, he resided in Arab, Alabama for five years.
A Veteran, he was active in the US Army for twenty years, in Korea and the Vietnam War. He enjoyed pro football, watching western movies and reading.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Woods Redden; his sisters, Mildred Culpepper and Jannie Ruth Redden.
He is survived by two sons, Rickey Redden (Shirley), Christopher Redden (Tricia Harris); one daughter, Janie Whatley (Daniel); 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mr. Redden will be escorted to his final resting place by Daniel Whatley, III, Daniel Whatley, IV, Mathew Whatley and Ryan Redden.
Brother Phillip Cody will be officiating.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
Interment will services will follow at Arab Memorial Cemetery, Arab, AL.
