Mr. Joseph Ray Dabbs 71 passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was born to Mr. A.C. Dabbs and Gaynell Lafollette on August 21, 1949 in Marshall County, AL. and resided in Horton, AL. since 2009. He was in the US Army and served in Vietnam, in addition to enjoying hunting and fishing. He retired from Arab Parks and Recreation.
He is preceded in death by his son, Tony Ray Dabbs.
Survivors include his son, Andy Dabbs; five brothers, James Edward Dabbs, Ronnie Lynn Dabbs (Bobbie), Jackey Dabbs, Mackey Dabbs and Allen Dabbs; one sister, Teresa Johnson (Dennis); grandchildren, JoJo Dabbs, Jacob Dabbs, and Starla Dabbs.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 AM at Clear Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Guntersville, AL. with Brother Brad Howard Officiating.
