A Visitation for Mr. Jim White, age 55 of Ashland, were held on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
Mr. White passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Clay County Hospital. Born in Fulton County, Georgia, he lived in Georgia for the first 13 years of his life until his family moved to Clay County. After graduating from Bibb Graves High School, he worked as a Diesel mechanic for Roysters for a number of years. He enjoyed spending his time watching TV Land and Westerns and attended Fairview Christian Church. Jim was a great husband, father, brother, and so much more. He loved to spend time with his family and friends but most importantly his grandchildren, Hayden and Evie, along with his great nephew, Dominic. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Suszanne White of Ashland; 2 sons: J.J. White (Lindsey) of Albany, GA and Cory White (Savannah) of Ashland; his mother, Carol Rowell of Ashland; his brother, Billy White (Stacey) of Ashland; two grandchildren, Hayden Weinthal, and Evelyn White; three nieces, Kasey and Brittany White, and Ashley Britt; his grand-nephew, Dominic Jones; his close personal friends, Robert and Debbie Anderson, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Milton White Sr.
