Susie Faye Hill Long went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2020. She was born on January 3, 1930 in Franklin County to the late Alan and Elizabeth (Hayes) Hill. Susie lived a long and fruitful life in Jesus. She served as a Sunday School teacher for many years at Westside Church of Christ in Muncie, Indiana. She was also a member of New Center Grove Church of Christ in Franklin County and East Brainerd Church of Christ in Chattanooga. Susie was employed at Warner Gear in Muncie, Indiana for thirty-five years. As a retiree, she volunteered with Partnership for Families in Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Tony Long; brothers, Noble Hill, J.C. Hill, Ernest Hill, and Carl Hill; sisters, Ruby Clark, Mary Hanger, and Estell Parks; and granddaughter, Amber Oberlin. Susie is survived by her loving children, Vickie (David) Abbott, and Tony A. Long; granddaughter, Ashley (Jeff) Walker; great-grandchildren, Michael Cash Walker, Colt Walker, and Waylon Boone Walker; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 27, 2020 at New Center Grove Church Cemetery with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating.
