Donald Webster Gann, age 87 of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Gann was born on April 14, 1933 to the late Daniel & Edith Boydston Gann in Dekalb County. He retired from the United States National Guard, after 42 years and 11 months of service, as a CW4. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, the family will have a private service for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Fort Payne.
Mr. Gann is survived by his wife of 67 years, JoAnn McSpadden Gann; son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Diane Gann; sister, Mary Ellen Vest; grandson, Drew Gann; and great-grandson, Alex Gann.
