Bobbie Jean Evans Farrar, age 85 of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born in Moore County on August 22, 1935 to the late Floyd and Silla (Simpson) Evans. Before her retirement, Bobbie Jean was employed by Jack Daniels. Right up until her death, she could be seen walking around town and visiting with everyone or working outside on her family’s farm. In addition to her parents, Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Farrar. She is survived by daughters, Jane (Kenneth) Claxton of Shelbyville, and Betty (Randall) Fanning of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Shannon (Jay) Dearing of Shelbyville, and Brett (Whitney) Fisher of Shelbyville; and great-grandchildren, Eli Dearing, Kendall Dearing, Jackson Davis, and Brynn Fisher.
