Jimmy Ancil Franks was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 30, 1937 the son of the late Glen and Lillie Franks.
Jimmy lived most of his life in Hardin County, Tennessee as a farmer. In his spare time he loved whittling, working with wood and gardening.
He departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 19 days.
Jimmy is survived by one sister, Katie Hamilton of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Willodean Franks and Betty Jo Webb, and four brothers, Landis, Finis, Granville, and Guy Franks.
