Richard Edward Green, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Green served in the US Army. He worked in Aerospace Engineering for numerous companies for around 40 years. He contracted for NASA until his retirement at age 62. Richard loved bowling and playing golf.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Neva Green, and brothers, Clyde Green Jr. and Robert Green. Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Green; daughters, Dianne Green Bowen (Sam), and Donna Green Lewis (Dave); son, Steve Green; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Green and Claire Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel with Tom Cogdill officiating.
