Brett Alan Chassay passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 50. He had been a very happy young child, and later became the class clown in middle school. At Grissom High School in Huntsville, AL, he fell in love with soccer and played for many years at a high level. In his late 20s he was afflicted with schizophrenia, and struggled with that disability for the remainder of his life.

Brett was loved by his family, his soccer and Ultimate teammates and by his many friends across Alabama.
