Carl Felton Caperton was born July 17, 1954 in Iron City, TN the son of the late Lawrence (Rab) and Rachel Thelma Gambrell Caperton.Mr. Caperton departed this life on October 30, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days.
Mr. Caperton was a disabled logger and sawmill operator.
He is survived by five sisters, Betty Sue Caperton of Iron City, TN, Lisa Odle of Collinwood, TN, Patricia Ann Carroll and husband Freddie of Waynesboro, TN, Gwen Herndon and husband Mark of Clifton, TN, Audrey Gean Kelley and husband Jerry of Loretto, TN; two brothers, Kenneth Caperton and wife Karen of Iron City, TN, J.D. Caperton and wife Tonya of Iron City, TN; several uncles and aunts; several nephews and nieces also a best friend Kenneth Gable of Iron City, TN
In addition to his parents, Mr. Caperton was preceded in death by grandparents Francer and Mallie Caperton , Lum and Hattie Gambrell; brother, Gary Caperton; brother -in-law Jimmy Odle
No services are scheduled at this time, at his family’s request his body will be cremated.
