Henry R. Beachy, age 71 , of Huntland, TN passed away surrounded by family on Thursday evening, October 29, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital due to complications from Covid-19. He was born on March 16, 1949 in Stuarts Draft, VA to Rufus and Amelia Beachy. They preceded him in death along with his step-mother, Fern. He was united in marriage to Clara T. Miller on May 15, 1976 and they enjoyed 44 precious years together. He was a talented mechanic and was employed at Staunton Tractor in VA for eight years. After relocating to Huntland, TN in 1987, he opened his own business, Beachy’s Repair, where he specialized in repairing farm equipment and diesel engines. He loved his work and respectfully served the community by his life of faith, purpose, and integrity. Henry loved the Lord and his church at Belvidere Mennonite. He actively filed many roles over the years and will be greatly missed. The family cherishes the legacy he leaves behind. Grieving his departure are his wife, Clara, and six children, Alfred (Juanita) Beachy, Grace (Milan) Wagler, Leon (Edith) Beachy, Edith (Galen) Helmuth, Juanita (Vincent) Miller and Elaine Beachy; 25 grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers, Edward (Louise), Alton (Lovina), Simon (Loretta), Marvin (Orpha), Junior (Saloma) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 pm at the Belvidere Mennonite Church and also on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Belvidere Mennonite Church. Interment will follow at the Belvidere Mennonite Church Cemetery. The outpouring of love and support from friends and the community has deeply touched our hearts. Thank you to each one and may God bless your kindness to us.
