Funeral services for Mr. Ray Reeves, age 80, are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Darden Cemetery. Mr. Reeves passed away on Wednesday, October 28 at his home in Darden. He was born October 10, 1940 in Lexington to the late Johnny Bell Reeves and Elizabeth Reeves Moore. He was owner and operator of Reeves Fine Jewelry. He was also a singer and songwriter and had his own record label, Saber Records. He was preceded in death by his son, David Ray Reeves; one brother, James Elco Reeves; and one sister, Lorene Blankenship. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Inez Morris Reeves; his daughter, Susan Marchbanks (William); brother, Ernest Reeves (Ruth Ann); sister, Kay Pileterie (Frank); and two grandchildren, Emilio and Raquel Orengo.
