Funeral service for Sophia Steele, 82, will be Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery (Cullman Co.). Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Steele died on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 16, 1938, in Cullman County to Gordon G. Carroll and Ruth Arminda Cornelius Carroll. Prior to her retirement, she was a Veteran of the United States Air Force before being a Registered Nurse for Hartselle Medical Center. Preceding her in death were her husband: William Steele, her parents, two brothers: Garlan Carroll and Grover Carroll and a daughter-in-law: Anita Steele.
