Nettie Joey Reese, age 58 of Decherd, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. A native of Franklin County, she was born on June 22, 1962 to the late, Hubert Erwin and Helen Viola Haney Walls. A dedicated homemaker and great mother, she loved everyone in her family the same, no matter if you were her sibling, sister, brother, or in law. In her free time Nettie loved to crochet, sew, and listen to gospel music. She was always full of happiness and would put everyone else first. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Lindie Walls, Dot Petticost, and Robert Walls. She is survived by her husbandof 41 years, Tony Reese of Decherd; son, Bryan Reese of Decherd; sisters, Tina Walls of Tullahoma, Anita Walls of Tennessee, Peggy Walls of Bakersfield, CA, Racheal Wimbley of McMinnville; brother, Garland Walls of North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service following at 3:30 P.M. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Matt Gossett, P.J. Reese, Troy Gossett, Michael Reese, Charlie Johnson, Randy Baker serving as pallbearers.
