Mr. Raymond O’Barr Jr. of Union Grove, Alabama, the Union Hill Community in Morgan County; passed away in the afternoon of Saturday – October 17, 2020 at the Marshall Medical Center North at the age of 83 years.
Mr. O’Barr was born on January 14, 1937 in St. Clair County – Moody, Alabama to Raymond O’Barr Sr. and Clara Bell McCroy O’Barr. Mr. O’Barr is a retired employee of USBI and enjoyed Alabama football, the Atlanta Braves, fishing, boating and camping.
Mr. O’Barr will be forever remembered by his sons, Thomas Raymond O’Barr and Terry Dewayne O’Barr (Ashley) and grandchild, Brad O’Barr.
In addition to his parents; Raymond O’Barr Sr. and Clara Bell McCroy O’Barr, Mr. O’Barr is at last reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years, Wanda Rena O’Barr as well as many brothers.
A Graveside Visitation will be held at the Valhermoso Spring’s Cemetery prior to service time beginning at 1:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service and Burial will be held in the afternoon of Wednesday – October 21, 2020 at the Valhermoso Spring’s Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Van Johnson, officiating.
