Charlotte Alberta Foster Coker, age 92 of Decherd passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Alberta was born on May 15, 1928 in Tullahoma to the late, Haskel DeBose and Georgia Cyree Foster. She was a dedicated homemaker, that loved to quilt, sew, cook, and can. She attended the Bethel Community Church and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Alberta was an independent, loving, and caring special person, who would do anything for you. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Henry Wilson Coker; brothers, Albert Carl Foster, William Kenneth Foster; sisters, Clara Bob Thurman and Ruby Mae Davis. She is survived by her sons, Tommie (Ruby Ann) Coker of Decherd, Henry Lee (Connie) Coker of Decherd; daughter, Lynn (Mike) Anderson of Winchester; brother, Ralph Foster; sister, Mary Glendon Thorn of Winchester; grandchildren, Patricia Austin, Brittney Parks, Thomas Wilson Coker, Nathaniel Coker, Thomas Lee Coker, Tammy Morgan, Billy Michael Anderson, Charity Allen; step-grandchildren, John Barnett, David Barnett; great-grandchildren, Allysia Anderson, Rebekah Anderson, Serenity Allen, Tiffany Morgan, Landon Morgan, Conner Morgan, Gavin Morgan, Josh Austin, Ashley Parks, Emily Coker; step-great-grandchildren, Shelby Barnett, Ty Bogman, McKayla Barnett; great-great-grandchildren, Amelia Belle, Jaxon Austin; step-great-great-grandchildren, Ellie Barnett, Oliva Parks, Chevy Parks, Isabellea Parks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 5:00- 8:00 P.M. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Thomas L.
