Billy Wayne Wilcox, age 72 of Manchester passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Billy was born in Winchester on September 10, 1948 to the late Lillard William and Lillian Varry Stevens Wilcox. He was employed for many years as nurseryman at Steve Hawkersmith Nursery. In his free time he loved to fish, hunt, or just spending time outdoors. Billy will always be remembered for being outgoing, funny, and always willing to do anything for anyone. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Lillard Wilcox Jr., Macky wilcox, James Wilcox, Sue McMillian, Farcie Wineland, and William Wilcox. He is survived by his children, Billy Ray (Nicole) Wilcox of Tullahoma, Dianna Wilcox of Pelham, Janice Gipson of Pelham, Edna (Travis) Winton of Winchester, Eric DeWayne Wilcox of Winchester; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Ella Faye Hammock of Tullahoma, Tony Eugene Wilcox of Hillsboro, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 19, 2020 in the chapel at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Ray Wilcox officiating.
