Kathy loved her only granddaughter, Gracie Rose, very very much! Kathy would always say Gracie Rose was both of her kids in one. She was Joey’s child, but looked and acted like Mel. Being Gracie Rose’s Gigi was her greatest joy along with being Ed’s wife and Melande and Joey’s mom.
Kathy was a big Alabama fan! Roll Tide! But if the game would get close Mom would change the channel until Bama would take the lead again. Bama could keep you on your toes she would say. Kathy had a great love for doing arts and crafts. She was extremely talented. She was a very kind, loving mom, but she believed in making you do right.

Arrangements Entrusted to Scottsboro Funeral Home
