Funeral services for Mr. Lois Eugene Jones, age 84, will be held at 1 pm Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Shelton Funeral Home. Appropriate social distancing protocols with masks recommended, will be observed as set forth by the CDC and the State of Tennessee.

Mr. Jones was born on December 23, 1935 to Hubert Ben Jones and Hattie Mae (Greenway) Jones in Jackson, TN and passed on October 13, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Ben and Hattie Mae (Greenway) Jones; a sister, Peggy Jean (Jones) Ross; and 2 step brothers, Jackie Lee Oates and Billy James Coleman.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 60 years, Freda Nell (Warren) Jones of Trenton, TN; a son, Allen Eugene Jones (Cathy) of Trenton, TN; a step son, Jerry Steven Strachn (Elga) of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Amy Nichole (Jones) Daniel (Chuck) of Gallatin, TN, Matthew Allen Jones of Milan, TN, and Bethany Lynn (Jones) Edge (Robert) of Jackson, TN; 2 step grandchildren, Adam Strachn of Indiana and Natalie (Strachn) Dorta (Gabriel) of Florida; and 3 great grandchildren, Raegan Fesmire of Knoxville, TN, William Thurston of Illinois, and Ally Jones of Milan, TN.
