Misty Berry Hood, 40, of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020. Misty loved to sing, she loved animals; her greatest love was her family.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Hughes and Rev. Alan Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Summit, c/o DeKalb Baptist Association, 2185 Parker Avenue SE, Rainsville, AL 35986.
She is survived by her children, Nena Hood and Eli Hood; fiancée, Wade Holder; mother, Anita Barkley Berry; sister, Jessica Nelson and husband, Justin; and niece, Evie. She was proceeded in death by her father, Robert Berry and husband, Burt Hood.
