Richard D. Pollard, 92 of Florence passed away Sunday, October4,  2020 at his residence after an extended illness.  Mr. Pollard was member of First Baptist Church of Florence; a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II, where he received the Victory Medal during the occupation of Japan.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Tri- Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Pollard; parents, Ernest and Esther Pollard. He is survived by his son, Derrell Pollard (Jean); daughters, Donna Bradley (Steven) and Denise Michaels, (Greg); brothers, Roy Pollard, Don Pollard (Jean), and Dan Pollard (Donna); grandchildren, Cameron Prince, Stacy Williams, Sonja Pollard, Jeanne Patterson, Jessica McMullin, Casey  Brannon, Courtney Burgett, and Allie Michaels; and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Tubbs, TJ Patterson, Will Brannon, Trace Burgett, Hunter Watson, and Greg Michaels.
