Adine Thompson age 89, of Florence, died Friday, December 14, 2012. Visitation will be Monday, December 17 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sonny Owens and Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mark Scott, Cody Scott, DwayneThompson, Bubba Thompson, Jimmy Ray Thompson, and Evan Crowell. Honorary pallbearer is Billy Newton. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ. Preceded her in death were her husband, Ottis Thompson, SR., and mother, brothers, and sisters. Survivors include her children, Fran Daniel (Roger), William Thompson (Jean), James Thompson (Diane), Junior Thompson (Gina), and Roy Thompson (Beth). 11 Grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren. She was a faithful Christian and was devoted to others in need. A special thanks to E.C.M staff, Dr. Webb and to Emily and Bethany with Hospice of the Shoals for their love and care.
