Memorial Service for Wendell Oliver Murphree, age 76, of Cullman, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Murphree passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, at his residence. He was born Saturday, May 13, 1944, to James Ollie and Katie Murphree.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew; two brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Leasia Murphree; son, Randy (Tina) Murphree; daughters, Tammy (Scott) Smothers, Katie (Allen) Loyd, Lisa (Joseph) Timbs, and Lacey (Durand) Lemley; son, Landon Murphree; grandchildren, Kim, Josh, Kelly, Jake, Jennifer, Cassie, Jessica, Justin, Tyler, Daniel, Michael, Dawson, Lane, Daxton, and Lincoln; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Jayne Turner and Daulene Mattox; brother, Terry Murphree; and a host of nieces and nephews
