Mr. Doris Doyle Banks, born September 28, 1926, of Jasper passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center at the age of 94. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation and services will be private. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his wives, Flossie Ella Banks, Geneva Banks and Sylvia Rose Banks; son, Jerry Dee Banks; mother, Cora McCauley Banks; father, Greely Banks; brothers, Lewis and Lacey Banks; sister, Gaynell Banks; and grandson, Scotty McGuff.
Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Banks and Dewayne Banks (Venise) of Jasper; daughters, Shelia McGuff (Larry) and Terrie Jo Banks of Jasper; step children, Ricky Lee (Mary) of Birmingham, Phillip Lee (Sherry) of Jasper, Beverly Black of Jasper, Daniel Stewart (Linda) of Jasper and Anita and Christopher of Jasper; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
