With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jonathan David Brown, age 38, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away on September 24, 2020. He was born October 2, 1981 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Dr. Michael and Kay Brown. He graduated from Madison Academy in 2000. He subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
Jonathan is survived by his parents Dr. Michael and Kay Brown of Madison, Alabama; his brother, Matthew (Allison) Brown of Dallas, Texas and his sister, Rachel (Josh) Farhat of Huntsville, Alabama. He also leaves a large loving family including his nephews, Levi Farhat and Carson Brown, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Jonathan loved his family and spending time with them cooking and grilling, playing games and travelling. He enjoyed photography and had a very creative eye. He was also a talented woodworker and craftsman. Jonathan had recently committed his life to Christ. He had a passion for sharing the Gospel with others which lead him to begin pursuing a degree in counselling.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00pm. at Mayfair Church of Christ in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to His Way Ministries (582 Shields Rd, Huntsville, AL) or St. Jude Children’s Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105).
