Lewis H. Smith, 69 of Arab passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Marshall Medical Center North. Lewis was born November 11, 1950 in Alabama. He was retired from the US Navy and National Guard, also from the Huntsville City Schools. He was a member of Hebron Church of Christ.
He is survived by his Wife: Diana Smith of Arab; Sons: Michael Smith and Chris Smith (Misty) both of Arab; Granddaughter: Kastin Smith; Step Children: Joshua Shock, Stephanie Cobbe and Jacque Anderson; Sister-in-law: Barbara Smith; Nieces: Terra Karbens and Renee Guido; Six Step Grandchildren and One Step Great Granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Beverly Smith; Sister: Brenda Bass.
Memorial Service will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Hebron Church of Christ with Brock Johnson officiating. The service will also be streamed live on the church face book page. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Smith Family with cremation arrangements.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the orphanage of your choice or any VA organization.
