Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine “Kat” Grissom, age 89, are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, September 11, 2020 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. Mrs. Grissom passed away Tuesday in Jackson. She was born November 30, 1930 in Lexington to the late Albert and Zettie Ryals. She was retired from Decaturville Sportswear. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Manley Eugene Grissom; one son, Timothy Grissom; two brothers, Murray and Joe Ryals; her sister, Annease Lindsey; and two grandchildren, Mike and Debbie Lindsey. Survivors include her two sons, Gene Grissom (Angie Smith) and tommy Grissom (Barbara); two grandchildren, Kelsey Grissom and Gene Hardin; and one great grandson, Brandon Hardin.
