Mrs. Celestine Entrekin, 88, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away September 8, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center. A native of Franklin County and a retired bookkeeper and accountant, she was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ, Russellville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at North Highlands Church of Christ, Russellville. The body will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Officiating will be Keith Barnett and Phillip Goad. Pallbearers include AJ Smith, Johnny Thornton, Ronnie Berry, Floyd Fennel with elders serving as honorary bearers. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.
Mrs. Entrekin is survived by her husband Walter Entrekin, Jr.; daughter Jan Smith; sister Shellie Whitehead; grandchildren: Andrea Johnson and AJ Smith; great grandchildren, Levi and Jude Johnson, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grady and Bessie Taylor; brother Jerry Taylor and sisters, Lurelie Sumerel, Effie Wilson and Vera Stidham.
