Thomas R. Gurley  Thomas R. “Tom” Gurley, 64, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Sunday night at his home.

Thomas was a jack of all trades. He drove a truck for 20 years, was a master diesel mechanic and there really wasn’t much he couldn’t do. He was the best daddy, husband and pawpaw anyone could of ever asked for. He will forever be cherished, loved and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father John “Jack” Gurley; his mother, Lottie L. Hambrick; his two brothers, Johnny and Teddy Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife Kenya S. Gurley; his children, John “JT” Gurley and wife Nancy, Krisa Gurley and husband Scott; seven grandchildren, Destiny, Marissa, Justin, Kinlee, Shelbi, Balie and JT; his bonus daughter, Brandy McDonald; special friend, Donna Gurley.

Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 2:00 pm with Bro. Harold Kelly officiating.

Interment will be in the Beason Cemetery.
