Evone G. Black, age 80 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Boldo Cemetery. Alfred Hartley will officiate.
Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her Daughter-Linda B. Smith; Son-Roger L. Black; Parents-Ovie Grace and Dorothy Grace.
She is survived by her Husband-Charles Black; Grandchildren-Leia Smith, Paul Smith (Amanda), Stacey Howton and Joshua Patton (Rebecca); Great Grandchildren-Beau Smith, Preston Patton, Carter Owens, Addilynn Patton and Mason Howton.
Mrs. Black worked in childcare for many years including thirty at Bevill Jasper Child Development Center, the last twelve as director.
