Betty Ann Rogers Ford, age 80 of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on March 30, 1940 to the late Robert Lee and Ella Ozelle (Lovelace) Rogers. Before her retirement, she worked as a cook, a job she sincerely loved. Betty Ann’s love for her family was apparent as she always put their needs above her own. She cherished the time she spent with her beloved children and especially her sweet grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Truman Ford; sister, Louise Drewery; and brothers, Aaron Rogers and Jim Rogers. She is survived by her loving children, Kellie Ford and Mitchell Ford, both of Estill Springs; brother, Jerry (Jane) Rogers of Cherryville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Justin Miller, Breeley (Blake Martin) Cribari, Sarah (Brandon McDonald) Click, and Allen Kelley; great-granddaughter, Sydney Steele; and beloved cat, Woofie. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Monday, August 24, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
