Exie Lee Putman Nichols, age 87, of Hodges, AL passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Marion County, AL on Tuesday, December 16, 1932 to John Putman and Eva Engle Putman.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery on county hwy 102 and Bro. Jimmy Nichols will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis (Dood) Nichols; parents, John Putman and Eva Engle Putman; three brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Randall (Renee)Nichols, , Ricky (Pattie) Nichols; grandchildren Jeremie (Elaine) Nichols, Tunya Flippo, Brandy Nichols, Kelly (Cody)Harris; step-grandchildren, Noah (Mandi) Sexton, Drew (LeeAnn) Sexton; great- grandchildren, Cierra (Travis) McLain, Kris (Kaitlyn) Nichols, Gage Flippo, James T. Nichols, Keona Harris, Kyra Harris; step-great- grandchildren, Kimberly, Callie, Stacy Jo Sexton, Chloe Clark, Blake Sexton; great-great grandchildren, Payson Malphrus, Will McLain; sister, Vela Cantrell; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers are Jeremie, Cody, Kris, James, Gage, Travis, Drew, Noah.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
