Graveside services for Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Griffin Baggett, age 93 of Ashland, was held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Arnall and Rev. Wade Price officiating.
Mrs. Baggett passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Clay County Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Clay County. In 1979, following Henry’s death, she went to work at Southland for over 10 years and Higgins for many years. Mrs. Jackie was a homemaker and was a member of Bethel Christian Church.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Diana Shull (Neil) of Oxford, Randy Baggett (Amanda) of Southside, Missy Baggett and Chris Baggett, both of Hazel Green; six great-grandchildren: Abygail Shull, Esther Shull, Neil Shull, Jr., Isabella Shull, Samuel Baggett and Izzabella Leek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis D. Griffin and Lilla Wheeles; her husband of 33 years, Henry D. Baggett; two sons: Ronnie Eugene Baggett and Randall Henry Baggett, Sr.; six sisters and five brothers.
Pallbearers were: Randy Baggett, Neil Shull, and Chris Baggett.
