Polly Webster Talley “Nana” 73 of Florence, AL passed away peacefully on August 13, 2020, surrounded by people she loved. Visitation will be Saturday, August 15 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Florence, with the funeral service to follow at 3:30. Reverend William Brewer and Chance Hall will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
Polly spent her life having fun and making wonderful memories. She enjoyed her family, horses, boating on the lake and spending time at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Edward Talley, Jr. “Pops”; father, James P. Webster; mother, Bobbie Summers Webster; granddaughter, LaKrisha Thigpen, and grandson Deven Kujath.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Thigpen (Junior) and Jeri Talley Stanford; brother, Butch Webster (Brenda); grandchildren, Kayla Burgess (Blake), Kristan Kujath, Abby Brewster (Austin), Aron Thigpen (Danielle), Misty Thigpen (Jeremy), Shelby Thigpen, and Phyllis Thigpen; great-grandchildren, Blakely and Miles Burgess, Anne-Marie and Gage Thigpen, Bryant Thigpen, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Blake Burgess, Austin Brewster, Aron Thigpen, Matthew Thacker-Rhodes, Michael Rhodes, Jeremy Harmon, Riley Woody, and Aaron Woody.
