Graveside services for Mr. James Ray Middleton, age 80, are scheduled for 4 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Independence Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Middleton passed away Wednesday in Parsons. He was born April 29, 1940 in Henderson County to the late Ernest and Gussie Scott Middleton. He was retired from the State of Tennessee Highway Dept. and loved riding in his car. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Margaret Lucille Carnel Middleton; two brothers, Cecil Middleton (Barbara) and
J. D. Middleton (Sandra); four sisters, Dorothy Wallace, Mary Frances Bailey, Louise Middleton, and Mae Clifft (Larry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
