Charles “Sonny” West passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the age of 82. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at New Hope #2 Cemetery. Moss Service Funeral Home directing. He was preceded in death by his parents: Buford and Emma Bolzle West and his wife, Mary Sims. Survivors include his step daughters: Shelia Bogard and Cathy Watts; sisters: Mary Nell West Todd, Elizabeth West (Van) Johnson and Linda West Sullivan; nephews: Christopher Johnson and Craig Johnson, great nieces: Catlin Johnson and Raven Johnson, great nephew, Erin Johnson, great great nephew, Rayland Chandler and a host of extended family and friends.
