Sue Wilson Burgett, age 61, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Chapel Hill.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Friendship Cemetery at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 3, 1959 in Maury County, Sue was the daughter of Jean Malone Wilson and the late Bobby Wayne Wilson. She was a 1977 graduate of Culleoka High School and became an LPN in 2011. She was dedicated to her job at Family Healthcare Group in Lewisburg where she loved working. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Alabama football fan. Sue was baptized in the Church of Christ. A loving mother and friend to all, Sue will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons: Ross Burgett of Chapel Hill, Josh (Sharon) Burgett of Lewisburg; grandchildren: Jessica Robinson, Shealyn Burgett, Noah Burgett, Ryder Layne Burgett and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Greg Wilson and Barry Wilson.
