Mr. Robert Fox, age 89, of Arab passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Fox was born on Chicago, Illinois to the late Hughson Joseph & Catharine Fox. He lived most of his life in Ohio until he moved to Arab in 1967 to build Hall Chemical Company.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nellie Jo Fox; children, Gary (Janice) Fox, Joanne (Jimmy) Stisher; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; sister, Francine Rathmann; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 9 great nieces; 1 great nephew; 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at Arab First United Methodist Church at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 with Pastor F. Todd Henderson & Bro. W.G. Henry officiating. The family request that all attendees please wear a mask while attending the service. A private military graveside committal will be held for family only.
Pallbearers will include Justin Stisher, Jathan Stisher, David Rathmann, David Skidmore, Mike Shirley & Will Dillard.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to the Arab First United Methodist Church, 1058 North Main Street Arab, AL 35016.
