Larry Landers, age 78 of Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
Mr. Landers will lie in state Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m with Bro. Dennis Steward and Bro. John Humphres officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Landers, Owen Turner, Ricky Phifer, Jason Potts and Chuck Weeks. Jacob Landers will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mr. Landers is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Landers; sons, Byron Landers & wife Patti and Lionel Landers & his fiancee’ Twylia Hood Szabo; grandson, Jacob Landers; granddaughter, Kaligh Szabo; and brother, Lowell Landers his & wife Linda.
He is preceded in death by his parents, N.G. & Mattie Landers; sisters, Gladys Turner and Florence Turner; brother, J.C. Landers; and grandson, Joshua Landers.
