Bernice Adams Wakefield, age 86, of Double Springs, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center, Jasper. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Double Springs, Alabama.
Visitation is Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Don Smith officiating. Entombment in Winston Memorial mausoleum.
Ms. Wakefield is survived by her brother, Sam Adams, wife Brenda of Foley, Alabama; sisters in law, Martha Adams and Opal Adams; also a host of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Bessie Beatrice Cotton Adams; husband, Cecil Jackson Wakefield and brothers, George Willis Adams and William E. Adams.
