Elaine Stanford McReynolds age 88, of Birmingham, AL passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at her residence.
Elaine was born August 6, 1931 in Lamar County, AL, the daughter of the late Halen and Myrtle Franks Duncan. She graduated from Sulligent High School. She married Felton Stanford July 3 and they were married for 32 years, raising two daughters, Teresa and Sheila. In 1990 she married Billy McReynolds, Sr. and they were married 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Halen and Myrtle Duncan; sisters, Martha Sue Duncan, Joyce Ann Duncan, Eunice Hazel Duncan, Shirley Duncan Minor, Inez Duncan Cantrell, and Mary Jo Duncan Taylor; brothers, Richard Kenneth Duncan and Quinton Duncan; and her first husband, Felton Stanford and her second husband Billy McReynolds, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Teresa (Mike) Jones, and Sheila (Billy) McReynolds all of Birmingham, AL; step-daughters, Kathy Daniels of Pell City, and Nancy (Mickey) Hooten of Cropwell; grandchildren, Lori (Landon) Franks of Tuscaloosa, Luke (Stevie) Jones, Kyle (Hollie) McReynolds all of Birmingham, and Scott McReynolds of Tuscaloosa; great grandchildren, John Michael Jones, Jack Jones, and Peyton McReynolds; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Taylor and Jerry Minor; and a host of nieces, nephews and step-family.
Services held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 11:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Webb Cemetery. Bro. Preston Headrick officiating.
