Gary Mack Brinegar, age 81 of Belvidere, passed away on August 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born in San Diego, California on August 16, 1938 to the late Charles and Anne Brinegar. Before his retirement, Gary was employed as a construction superintendent. In his spare time, he enjoyed making jewelry, tinkering, wood burning, fishing, and playing golf. Gary is survived by his significant other, Debra Rochester of Belvidere; children, Bryan Charles Brinegar, Bradley Brinegar, Lynn Brinegar, Barry Blaine Brinegar, and Deanna Brinegar; grandchildren, Alexander Brinegar, Clarice Brinegar, Gavin Brinegar, Allison Brinegar, Kathryn Brinegar, Hannah Brinegar, Connor Brinegar, Dylon Densmore, Rachel Densmore, Harper Densmore, and Walker Densmore; and faithful fur companion, Rocket.
